The Challenge

PayStack Africa needed to rebuild their payment platform from scratch. The legacy system was slow, lacked M-Pesa integration, and could not handle their growing transaction volume. Downtime during peak hours was costing them thousands of dollars per hour and damaging their reputation with merchants.

Our Solution

We architected a modern payment platform using Next.js and Django with Redis caching and PostgreSQL. The new system integrates Stripe for international payments and M-Pesa Daraja API for local mobile money. We implemented webhook processing, real-time reconciliation, and a comprehensive admin dashboard for monitoring transactions.
